Joe and Araxi have been in the Oriental rug business-cleaning, restoring, appraising, consulting and selling for over 35 years.Their store is located in San Mateo and serves the greater Bay Area and the Peninsula.

Their selection of antique and contemporary rugs and carpets is special and unique and comes from all carpet producing countries of the world in sizes from 2’ x 4’ to 18 ’x28’.

In June of 2008, due to health reasons and failing to convince their only son to take over the family business, they sold the cleaning and restoration division of the company and kept the retail and wholesale department.

Some of the services rendered are: wholesale sales preservation, insurance appraisals and consulting.

The showroom is open for business Monday through Friday, 10AM-5PM; Saturdays, 10AM-3PM; Closed on Sundays and Holidays.
